In Ward 27, everybody likes to be defined by what they’re not.

My name is Susan Gapka and I am seeking to earn your vote on October 25.

I am a tireless and effective campaigner for social justice addressing issues of affordable housing, post secondary education, mental health, community safety, and LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans) issues. My record of success is strong since emerging as a community leader on Church Street more than 10 years ago.

During this election campaign, we can build upon this foundation to engage in a conversation between residents, neighbourhoods, business, and community leaders to help shape our Ward 27 neighbourhoods and communities. For example, community engagement indicates the importance of cycling for Toronto residents. I support the Jarvis Street Bike Lanes as necessary for promoting and improving access to this form of transportation. Cycling is beneficial to our environment, our communities and neighbourhoods, and to our personal health.

Please check out my website, follow on twitter, or join our group on Facebook to learn more about the Susan Gapka Campaign.

With my experience, and your support, we can create the strong leadership for our communities and our neighbourhoods that we require and deserve for the next term of council.
